Mark, the owner of Frys Brewery, had a passion for real ale from the moment he was old enough to drink. After a couple of trips to the Great British Beer Festival, he decided that he would like to have a go at producing beer. An opportunity came up to purchase the Forgotten Corner Brewery from Millbrook, and after a lot of thought and consideration Mark decided to go for it. The brewery was set up with the assistance of ex-brewery worker Clifford Westlake. Several wasted batches later and test runs at local pubs, and the first bitter, “Haven”, was born.
Frys Brewery doesn’t want to produce a load of run-of-the-mill recipes that have been done before. We want to produce fresh ale with a few of the classics mixed in. Come back to the website for further information on new developments, and follow us on Twitter!
